be patient with your life, you do have time. happiness isn’t going to be an overnight thing. you aren’t going to wake up one morning feeling light as a feather in the exact place you need to be. life is a journey and i’ve gotta tell you: it’s going to take a while and it’s going to be hard. 

in our world today we are taught to believe that life is a linear course with no stops made along the way. but that just is not true. we are supposed to make little pitstops that don’t necessarily lead anywhere. these pitstops, though small or even annoying, can change not only our lives but those around you. while the world moves quickly around you, don’t forget to stop and smell the flowers. it will do you a lot of good to slow down, friend.
